Who We Are
Impossible LLC (formerly Impossible X LLC) is the holding company behind IMPOSSIBLE®. Joel Runyon founded it in 2010, and it's based in Austin, Texas. It owns and operates the IMPOSSIBLE brands, builds its own businesses and apps, advises funded startups, and funds our giving through IMPOSSIBLE.org.
Who's behind IMPOSSIBLE: IMPOSSIBLE is the brand, and Impossible LLC is the company that owns it.
Team
Joel Runyon, founder. Joel started IMPOSSIBLE in 2010, ran the 777 Project (7 ultramarathons on 7 continents to build 7 schools), and leads the company's brands, apps and advising work. More at joelrunyon.com.
Advising
We've worked very closely with startups like SpotHero, scaling them from their seed to Series B stage. They have gone on to raise $118M. We've also advised Going, LMNT, Simple Energy and other companies in the productivity, health, fitness and nutrition space. See IMPOSSIBLE X® Growth Advising.
Our Businesses
We also invest in and develop our own businesses (IMPOSSIBLE, Ultimate Paleo Guide, Ultimate Meal Plans, and Start A Blog). We've also been developing apps for iOS and Android since 2012 including several top sellers in the health & fitness categories. See all our businesses.
Giving Back
We use our resources to give and create opportunities around the world. Most recently we completed the 777 Project, running 7 ultramarathons on 7 continents to build 7 schools with Pencils of Promise. Our giving runs through IMPOSSIBLE.org, the home of our work with non-profits.
